Yarn, Yarn and more Yarn

I have lots of lovely yarny things to talk about and show you today. The postie delivered this lovely book this morning... just in time for this weeks Yarn Along post :)

I've checked this book out of the library a few times, when I start doing that I know that perhaps it might be best just to buy a copy lol. There is not one project that I do not like in this book. This afternoon I'm going to browse through it's pages with a nice hot cup of coffee and choose a project and order the yarn :)

Off the needles: I've been knitting up a stock of dishcloths the last few evenings.

I have two rather complicated projects on the go at the moment and I was really wanting to just have something on the needles that required no looking and less thinking ;) Dishcloths filled that need. I've stuck to reds and pinks in keeping with the valentines theme that is fast approaching.

I am making allot of progress on my Best Friend scarf. The yarn is just beautiful (Cascade 220 Superwash), so soft and a joy to work with.

Another happy yarny 'share' - my order for more Drops 100% cotton (for more dishcloths) and another skein of Cascade 220 superwash needed to finish the Best Friend scarf arrived today. I order most of my yarn from Wool Warehouse, their prices are fantastic and I love the extra care they take in their packaging. My yarn always arrives in a beautiful organza drawstring bag.

I'm joining Ginny today for her weekly Yarn Along post. If you love to knit/crochet and read, why not write up a post and share what you are busy with, then hop over to Ginny's blog and link up with loads of other yarn obsessed people from around the world ;)

Have a lovely Wednesday
