Aren't those Tulips just scrummy? I love the colour and the contrast of the yellow that lies within. I think I may keep my eye out for some yarn in that colour - so pretty.
My little kitten in a teacup is coming along nicely. I'm hoping to be finished next week. What I need are some uninterrupted quiet hours with my needle and threads!
The children are on their half-term break at the moment, and this is always the time that I imagine that I would have these free hours to while away doing just as I please - but it never seems to be the case :o) Never mind, I'm loving all these small joys at the moment.
Have a great Thursday everyone...
I just love your words... scrummy? that is a new one for me. I like it!! and yes, I would totally agree. They are.
ReplyDeleteLOL - yes Bevy, I'm sure scrummy is not in the dictionary - its a cross between yummy and scrumptious!
DeleteLOVE the tulips :) Made my day to see them!!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely aren't they Karen. They were actually a gift from a lovely couple we had over for lunch. :o)
DeleteI love your tulips! They are my favourite flowers. Your kitten cross stitch is coming along nicely. I am stitching a little February girl. :o)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see that Heather - any chance of leaving me a link?

DeleteShirley Ann, Here is the link. It is an easy and fun stitch. If you like it, I would be glad to send you my pattern. I am just about finished with it. No pressure though. :o)
I do love your tulips! Too cold here, not even a one is popping through the ground yet.
ReplyDeleteOh Amanda - I do wish I could say that these were from my garden. But they are not. They are hot house tulips from the store. The real garden deal Tulips are only just peeking their green leaves through the earth here.
