Yarn Along {October 5th}

{Joining Ginny today over at Small Things}

Last week I mentioned that I was going to knit another cowl using the same little lace pattern but using a plain yarn. Using 5mm needles and double knit yarn produced a lovely open look.

I have also started on a slouch hat to team up with the cowl. I love the fancy rib work that the pattern gives...

Last week my Charlotte Mason Series arrived. I am busy reading a rather interesting chapter in Vol 5 about Young Maidens at Home!

I think that I will set Miss Mason aside tonight and opt for a good 'Who Dunnit!'

Thanks for visiting fellow yarnies, now I'm off to visit some of your lovely Yarn Along entries to get a little more inspiration ;o)

  3. That slouch hat pattern looks wonderful. Do you have a name or link to it? I really need to get a set of Charlotte Mason's books! I've read bits and pieces of her volumes, but it would be nice to read them all.
