    Yes Mary, they did bake it themselves. They love to plait (sp?) the dough and of course eat their work ;o)

    It is Challa. A traditional Jewish loaf if I'm not mistaken. Made with honey - no sugar ;o)

    What I would give to have a good, home made loaf of bread. People don't seem to do much of that anymore around here and it is sad. It's great to see your girls involved in this activity!
