Oh my! What a gorgeous day it is today. We've reached temperatures in the early 20's (that's Celsius) and England seems to be flourishing. After the girls lessons today I pulled on my walking shoes and headed out for a little countryside walk.
There are wildflowers EVERYWHERE! I'm thinking that tomorrow our nature study time is going to have to be on wildflowers. The last time we did a wildflower study was in 2013 - where does the time go?

Fields and Fields of Buttercups |

Oh that yellow! Makes me want to scoop it up and bottle it forever. |
|
Wild Daisy's - I couldn't resist picking a small bunch for my mantle. |
|
The Dog Roses are prolific at the moment. Think of all those rosehips in autumn. |
|
Early June seems to be Yellow Flag Iris season. What a display this year. |

Now doesn't this buttercup field remind you of Little House on the Prairie? |
Do you know - I don't think there is one season that I don't like. Each one has so much to offer, such variety. Each wears it's own unique cloak . As I walked along the way listening to the birds-song and veering off the main path every-so-often to explore little-visited alcoves, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion at God's beauty that surrounded me. I love England, I love my home and I love this beautiful world that the Creator has blessed us with.
Blessings to you all on this beautiful Thursday...
