Yarn Along - Autumn Notebook

Well, it's been quite a time since I joined in with Ginny's Yarn Along. Life has been full to the brim. Often, I find that a week or more has gone by since posting.

Last night I finished my granny strip blanket that I have been working on for the last 8 weeks. I had such fun making this and really enjoyed watching the colours grow.

My daughter was so excited to have her finished blanket and wasted no time in putting it on her bed. Her cat seems to be enjoying it too :o)

I've got two books on the go at the moment. Ann Voskamps 1000 Gifts which I have just started and already am finding it deeply moving. I think I cried my way through the first chapter -LOL.

The other book is a very lighthearted read by Mike Pannett, 'Not On My Patch Lad'. It's an account of the adventures of a Yorkshire Bobby. Lots of fun to read and just what I need after our long full days of late!
