Bluebell Blanket

A finish! It always is such a good feeling to finish a project you have been working on for some time. This is my Bluebell blanket as the colors are reminiscent  for me of springtime bluebell woodlands. The bluebell blanket is all wrapped up and ready to be posted off to my godmother - a (now belated) birthday gift. I am sure that when she opens it up and snuggles underneath it's warmth in front of the television, that she will think it well worth waiting for! :o)

This was a very simple make. I simple made a chain of roughly 200 as I wanted it to be a lap blanket, and dc (UK) in a pattern of strips until it reached my desired length. Once done a dc a boarder around the whole blanket to finish it off.

Happy weekending all...

    1. It was a sunny day - but with gale-force winds! Thankfully today the wind has dropped but we are back to drizzly weather LOL.
