Earlier on in the month, I promised to pop back here and show you the little pot covers that I've been stitching to cover the ugly black pots that my poinsettias are in...
I love how they turned out. The poinsettia and pot cover in the top picture went to a friend as a gift and my two poinsettias have matching covers (bottom pic). They really do make such a cute addition to the mantle!
Another little quick Christmas share ...
My milk bottles that are delivered have these cute little Christmas foil caps adorned with holly. Isn't that cute? Such a lovely little touch :o)
Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas everyone...
Lovely pot covers!! I wish I had milk delivered with Christmas foil on top!! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen. I have to say that I do feel lucky to live in a country where they hold fast to tradition :o)
DeleteI wish I had milk delivered - Christmas covers or not!! Merry Christmas to all. Myra from Winnipeg, Canada where it is -35C this morning (counting in the wind effect).

DeleteHey! love those milk caps... i want milk delivered here too. It would make life so much easier. LIke the good ole days...
ReplyDelete((You have no idea how often I wish for that "service" to return. or at least a drive through. that would just as fine.))
Hi Bevy :o) - it is so nice to hang onto this tradition. I remember as a child growing up in Colonial Rhodesia (Zimbabwe now) having our milk delivered. I was thrilled to see when we moved to England that they are a fiercely traditional country and hang on to some of the good old things! You pay a little extra per pint - but it is so worth it!
